on the female cashier's counter with all the directness and lazy posture 
of a sport fisherman standing beside a hung marlin taller than he.

When she gets home she mounts the packaging on her mantlepiece 
with a wooden plaque and golden plate 
detailing the time and location of the catch, and,
like any big game seeker, 
the size of the salient part.
